Tetiana’s responsibilities include performing HR, payroll and accounting duties, as well as taking care of general everyday tasks necessary for the efficient running of the office. Tetiana successfully utilizes her passion for numbers and her BS in Accounting from the University of Southern Maine to keep our financial information in order . Outside of BREX Corp., Tetiana loves running and biking.
Growing up around the family business, Mark was destined for a career in construction. After earning an AS in Civil Engineering Technology from Vermont Technical College, a BS in Construction Management from Arizona State University, and gaining experience as an Estimator/Project Manager for Granite Construction Company, he moved his family back to Maine to transform BREX Corp. Away from BREX Corp. Mark enjoys fishing and playing ice hockey.
Andrew Bouchard has over 20 years of experience in construction/excavation industry, and he currently works as our leading estimator/project supervisor.
Tom has been employed with BREX Corp. for over 8 years and he splits his duties between the office and in the field on construction sites. While in the office, Tom utilizes our takeoff software to quantify the scope of work involved in projects that we are bidding as well as helps prepare electronic files to be used in the layout of projects that we have under construction. While in the field, Tom utilizes our robotic total stations and GPS rovers to provide construction layout for our construction crews. Outside of work , Tom enjoys fishing, painting art work and golfing.
Mark has kept the fleet of equipment for BREX Corp. running smoothly for over 15 years. His extensive knowledge, experience, and attention to detail has produced a preventative maintenance program that averts many of the surprise equipment breakdowns that cost time and money on a construction project. Mark has a passion for fishing year-round outside of work.
BREX Corp. was transformed from a logging business into a construction business in 1971 under the ownership of the late Ralph D. Brown. At that time, Ralph D. Brown & Sons, Inc. focused on residential sitework throughout York County. The business was founded on the principles of honesty, integrity, hard work, and attention to detail.
At present, BREX Corp. is owned and operated by Mark D. Brown, third generation of Ralph D. Brown. BREX Corp. has broadened its markets to include road building and reconstruction, subdivisions, utilities, commercial and industrial sitework as well as contaminated soil remediation. BREX Corp's geographical area has expanded to include projects from Nashua, New Hampshire to Waldoboro, Maine. We have successfully completed contracts of as little as a few thousand dollars to contracts of over $6 million. Our clients include State and Local Municipalities, General Contractors, Business Owners, Developers and Homeowners.
BREX Corp's Experience Modification Factor is 0.76 and falling which is a direct result of our commitment to safety training, promoting a safe work environment, and the employment of experienced people. Most of our employees are OSHA 10 Certified and many have completed the OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER training.
