BREX Corp was the general contractor for a 100 foot long concrete seawall on Moody beach that was damaged in the winter of 2024. The project included the installation of a cofferdam, the demolition of the existing seawall, and the construction of a new deeper and taller seawall. The nature of the project presented many challenges to include working below the high tide line, tight site constraints, neighboring seawalls at higher elevations, and a tropical storm in the middle of construction. Despite these challenges Brex delivered a seawall on budget to two private homeowners to protect their properties for years to come.
