Mark brown
PRESIDENT
Mark started in the family construction business in 1983 as a laborer. After high school he earned an AS in Civil Engineering Technology from Vermont Technical College and then a BS in Construction Management from Arizona State University. Mark spent 7 years in Arizona working for Granite Construction Company, one of the largest heavy civil contractors in the country, as a Project Engineer and then Estimator/Project Manager on large highway projects. In 1997 he moved back to Maine to take over the family business. Outside of BREX Corp. Mark enjoys the solitude of the northern Maine woods, playing ice hockey and flying.
April norman
OFFICE MANAGER
April oversees all aspects of the business side of BREX Corp. Accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, banking, bonding, insurance, human resources and everything in between. Outside of BREX Corp., April enjoys gardening, sewing and spending time with the grandchildren.
Thomas WOOLDRIDGE
OPERATIONS MANAGER / ESTIMATOR
Thomas has been employed with BREX Corp. since 2005. He prepares the electronic files that are used in all of our GPS equipment and robotic total stations and generally oversees all aspects of construction layout. Outside of work, Thomas enjoys fishing and archery.
Nick Buonanno, E.I.
PROJECT ENGINEER
Nick started working for BREX Corp. in spring of 2019; he graduated in 2020 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. He develops our quantity take-offs, prepares estimates, and carries out the bulk of our construction layout. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Outside of work, Nick enjoys fishing and snowboarding.
MARK STEWART
EQUIPMENT MANAGER
Mark has been keeping the fleet of trucks and equipment well maintained and running smoothly at BREX Corp. since 1999. Mark’s attention to detail and record keeping, in conjunction with our equipment management software, has been instrumental in limiting costly downtime due to good preventive maintenance. Outside of work, Mark enjoys the outdoors with a passion for fishing.
